Churdhar Peak Trek

DAY 1: DEHRADUN (PREMNAGAR) – CHAUPAL VILLAGE, HIMACHAL PRADESH

Depart from Dehradun (Premnagar) and drive towards Chaupal Village in Himachal Pradesh, the base point for the Churdhar Trek.

Enjoy the scenic journey through beautiful mountain roads, forests, and Himalayan landscapes. Upon reaching Chaupal, explore the local surroundings and prepare for the upcoming trek.

Visit and seek blessings at the sacred Bijjat Maharaj Temple, a revered Himalayan deity known for prosperity and good health.

Drive Distance: Approx. 150–170 km
Duration: 6–8 hours (depending on road conditions)
Overnight Stay: Chaupal Village
Meals: Dinner

DAY 2: CHAUPAL VILLAGE – CHURDHAR PEAK – CHAUPAL VILLAGE

After an early breakfast, begin your trek towards Churdhar Peak, the highest peak of the Outer Himalayas.

The trail takes you through dense forests, beautiful meadows, and peaceful Himalayan landscapes. Reach the summit and visit the sacred Shirgul Maharaj Temple, located at the top of Churdhar Peak.

Spend time enjoying the breathtaking panoramic views of the Himalayan ranges before descending back to Chaupal Village.

Trek Distance: Approx. 16–18 km (round trip)
Duration: 8–10 hours
Altitude: Approx. 12,000 ft
Overnight Stay: Chaupal Village
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

DAY 3: CHAUPAL VILLAGE – BIJJAT MAHARAJ TEMPLE – DEHRADUN DEPARTURE

After breakfast, visit the sacred temple of Bijjat Maharaj, one of the most revered Himalayan deities of the region, known for prosperity, protection, and good fortune.

Experience the local traditions, ancient stories, and spiritual atmosphere of this Himalayan temple.

After darshan, begin the drive back towards Dehradun with unforgettable memories of the Churdhar and Chaupal Himalayan journey.

Duration: 6–8 hours
Meals: Breakfast & Lunch

• Your booking will be confirmed only after receiving the required advance payment.

• The remaining balance must be cleared before the departure date.

• Trek slots are limited and are confirmed on a first-come, first-served basis.

Health & Fitness Requirements

• Participants should be physically fit and mentally prepared for Himalayan trekking conditions.

• Any medical conditions, allergies, or health concerns must be informed to Snowshine Expeditions before the trek.

• Participants must follow instructions given by the trek leader and support team for a safe experience.

Weather & Itinerary Changes

• Himalayan weather conditions can change unexpectedly.

• The itinerary may be modified due to weather, trail conditions, government restrictions, or safety concerns.

• The final decision regarding route changes, delays, or cancellations due to safety reasons will be taken by the trek leader.

• Accommodation will be provided as mentioned in the itinerary.

• Facilities in Himalayan villages may be basic due to remote locations.

• Participants should be prepared for limited network connectivity and simple mountain living.

Cancellation Policy

• Cancellation charges will apply depending on the time of cancellation before the departure date.

• Advance payment may be non-refundable as operational arrangements are made in advance.

• No refund will be provided for unused services or voluntary withdrawal during the trip.
